About Geony

Built because we wanted to know for ourselves

Geony began with one question about our own brand: are we actually in ChatGPT's answers? The answer turned out to be no. Zero out of 225 measurements. And the site scored a technical 90.

Those two figures side by side are the whole story. The tools that existed looked at the technical side, while visibility is decided somewhere else: in the sources that assistants cite from. So we built what we were missing, and measured everything we assumed along the way. Sometimes the assumption turned out to be wrong, and it simply goes into our own decision log.

What makes Geony different is not a feature but an attitude: every figure has to carry a sample that can account for it. If three measurements cannot prove something, we say so. In a market that runs on confident dashboards, honesty about uncertainty is the sharpest thing you can be.

Geony grows out of the day-to-day practice of marketing and brand building. That is not a side note but the reason the action list is practical; it is written by people who then have to carry out the work themselves.

Geony is built in the Netherlands, measures in Dutch as its first market, and grows from there. The method is open on the methodology page; what we cannot do yet is on it too.

Mission and vision

Our mission. Making it measurable whether AI assistants mention your brand on the questions your customers ask, and helping you improve that, with figures you dare to show. No gut feeling and no loose screenshots: every percentage carries a confidence interval, and every measurement becomes a concrete action.

Our vision. Search is shifting from ten blue links to one AI answer. Whoever is missing from that answer will soon not exist for the customer. Geony wants to be the closed loop between measuring, improving and proving: you see where you stand, what you need to do and what it delivered, across all the major assistants, in Dutch and under your own brand.

Within a day you'll know whether AI mentions or ignores your brand

The first measurement runs on your own prompts, across three assistants, with real figures. No demo data, no sales call first.
