What is llms.txt really?
An llms.txt is a small Markdown file that you place in the root folder of your domain. Where a sitemap is meant for search engines and robots.txt determines what crawlers may fetch, llms.txt is a short introduction in plain language, written for language models. A heading with your name, a summary of a few sentences, and lists of your most important pages and facts.
The idea is simple: an ordinary web page is full of navigation, scripts and formatting that an assistant has to struggle through. An llms.txt delivers that information cleanly.
